Although past improvements such as lighting, turning lanes, and signage have been made, they have not resolved the core issue -the blind spot caused by the hill when heading westbound. This creates a dangerous and unpredictable crossing that puts lives at risk daily. Our rural families, school buses, farmers, and emergency responders use this intersection regularly. We strongly believe that the construction of an overpass is the only long-term and effective solution to eliminate the visibility hazard and reduce the risk of severe collisions. We respectfully request that the Ministry prioritize the planning and development of an overpass at this critical junction. Waiting until another tragedy occurs is not an option.
